The Academic Accreditation Unit organizes a workshop: " Course Teaching Strategies"
The Academic Accreditation Unit at the College organized a training workshop entitled " Course Teaching Strategies " on Wednesday morning 18-2- 1444 AH, targeting Faculty members in the Quality Meeting Room.
The workshop was prepared and presented by Dr. Sahar Abdo El-Sayed - Associate Professor of Curriculum and Mathematics Methodology, and Head of the Scientific Research Unit – the workshop aims to: Highlight on the importance of teaching strategies in achieving the quality of learning outcomes for courses and the program to achieve its objectives, as well as addressing the following topics:
- Define a skillful teaching strategy.
- Comparison of teaching strategy, method and style.
- Appreciate the importance of the relationship between teaching strategies and learning styles in ensuring the quality of learning outcomes.
- Determine the criteria for selecting teaching strategies.
- Explain examples of effective teaching strategies.
- Clarify the roles of the faculty member and the student in effective teaching strategies.
- Practical application of effective teaching strategies in the field of specialization.
The meeting was attended by a number of faculty members wich expressed their great benefit from the rich topics, and interactive participations included in the workshop.
