The Unit is responsible for developing the necessary plan for academic accreditation at the university level, monitoring the implementation of the plans and supporting all colleges and units in carrying out the tasks of academic accreditation, as well as establishing and disseminating a culture of accreditation in the university community.
Functions of the Unit:
1. Dissemination of quality culture in the faculty and academic departments.
2. Following up the preparation and compilation (programme description - programme report – Course description - Course report).
3. Following up the availability within the Section of a dedicated calendar and academic accreditation library with full programme documentation.
4. Periodic reports on the levels of performance in academic departments and the satisfaction of beneficiaries in each activity.
5. Visits to various units of the University to draw on their experience.
6. Documentation of efforts in academic departments and promotion of the Faculty's Undersecretary for Development and Quality.
7. Continuous collection of data and information on quality activities in the different departments and units of the College.
8. Giving and organizing lectures and workshops for college and university founders to promote a culture and deepen the concept of quality and accreditation.
9. Participation in training workshops organized by the University or the National Centre for Assessment and Academic Accreditation for up-to-date quality requirements and academic accreditation.
