The conclusion of the orientation week programs for new students:
Within the framework of the Academic Guidance Unit activities directed to new students, and under the direction of the College Dean, Dr. Maliha Mohamed Al-Qahtani, the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs in the College, represented by the Academic Guidance Unit, presented the induction meeting program for the new students for the second semester of the year 1443 AH in the period from Sunday 5/7 / 1443 AH to Wednesday 8/7/ 1443 AH under the supervision of Dr. Amal Ali Mohamed Zain - Head of the Academic Advising Unit at the College.
The meeting was opened with a blessed recitation from one of the students, then the speech of the College Dean, delivered by the Acting Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Wedad Sharabi, then the speech of the Head of the Academic Guidance Unit.
Then Dr. Sahar Abdo - Head of the Scientific Research Unit at the college presented - on the first day of the counseling week, a workshop entitled "the Study and Tests Regulations - Instructions and Systems" aimed at introducing the students to the study and examination system (the process of dropping, adding, registering courses - academic warning - postponement and withdrawal - deprivation and interruption and how to Redistricting and how to calculate the cumulative average).
The second day, Mrs. Sherifa Al-Maimouni - E-Learning Coordinator at the College, presented a workshop entitled "E-Learning Management - Blackboard", which aims to enable the new student to use the basics of Blackboard, such as knowing course information, downloading lectures, accessing assignments, and interacting in discussion forums. Use the implementers Interesting and attention-grabbing presentations, given that presentations and the method of implementation are among the most important elements to motivate students in Distance E-Learning.
On The Third day, defined in Vision, Mission, and Objectives and means of communication for each of the academic guidance unit Dr. Amal Ali Mohamed Zain and psychological guidance Dr. Asmaa Al-Shekhaiby, and unit of special needs Dr. Mona Abd El-Latif.
Concluded Dr. Ibtihal Al-Mubrad, a meeting on Tuesday 21/2/1443 AH, included an introductory meeting on student rights and duties, presented by which aims to educate the new student about her rights and obligations and introduce her to the disciplinary regulations of Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, and inform her of academic and non-academic rights.
